Claire from MACS took to the airwaves this morning to discuss Sleep Out and to highlight the great work by our Prison Resettlement scheme which intervenes early to prevent young people leaving prison homeless.
People released from prison into homelessness have almost double the rate of reoffending. MACS workers go into prisons and work with young people and various agencies to secure homes and support before they are released.
Special thanks to Tony for telling his story and plans for the future; for expressing his gratitude to MACS and urging everyone to take part in our Sleep Out at Banana Block on the 23 November.
