Let’s give a big warm welcome to Ian McMaster our new Choir Master for the MACS Singers Group!
Music has always been a big part of Ian’s life coming from a very musical family. He has been singing in choirs and playing piano through school and university along with playing in brass bands. Today his musical activities include being an active member of Belfast Operatic Company; leading and running “Singergy” a group established to bring singing to anyone and everyone through Pop-Up and Work Place Choirs, playing in 2 pub groups with music covering all styles and genres and providing musical conference/event energisers for organisations using singing, drums and percussion with “Music Unlimited”.
After all that Ian actually has a real day job as Training & Development Manager for “Continuum” an organisation committed to seeing people reach their potential through personal and professional skills and learning.

MACS Singers is being relaunched on a new night with our new choirmaster and we want as many young people as possible to join in!
We have a host of musical talent in MACS, so please come along – there will be less emphasis on vocal training and more emphasis on having fun singing. Our first rehearsal is on Wednesday 16th March. Please contact Madeline if you would like to join.
