The Covid-lockdown was tough for all, but the staff and young people at MACS Lisburn made the most of it.
Everyone joined in to spruce up the garden and communal lounge and there were lots of socially-distanced laughs had along the way! The young people got stuck in to painting and gardening and really made the most of the space. Our sessional worker Gee had made some lovely, colourful bunting with the young people and this now has pride of place as you enter the MACS garden.
Everyone added a little bit of themselves to the garden – our young people made some lovely art work on slates and even made some scented sleep bags with the lavender collected from the garden. We’re all very proud of the motivation of our young people and how they all came together to make the space beautiful.
