MACS Wellbeing team recently underwent their Investors in Children assessment. We encouraged young people to talk about how they have been involved in having their say and creating change within MACS.
This meeting involved young people talking 1 to 1 with the assessor, the assessor speaking to the group and observing an arts and crafts session in which the young people were designing pieces of art. The pieces of art were then donated to Eastside Arts Festival which would be giving them to people to encourage sharing, hope and positivity.
I would like to thank all the young people involved as you spoke amazingly about your experience of being involved in MACS and how you now organise things for other young people and have a say on the way forward.
