A big congratulations to Ruby and Dearbhlagh who finished their mentoring match last month.
I’ve been working with MACS for just over a year and it’s been the best year of my life. Me and my worker had a few months before I met Dearbhlagh. We worked towards things I needed help with. Which was my moods, my relationships with family and friends, and most importantly my confidence which wasn’t so good when I started with MACS.
MACS has helped me reach my goals with my confidence. When Dearbhlagh first met me I wouldn’t have been that confident but now I’m confident in myself. With your mentor, you get a set amount of money to do activities during the 3 months with your match. Me and Dearbhlagh had a blast – we went for walks, to the gym, for dinner, coffee, Christmas shopping, bowling – we had a blast!
I wanna say thank you to everyone at MACS and to Dearbhlagh and Aoife for all the work they’ve done with me.
