Staff and volunteers recently took part in a Small World workshop where we met some fantastic people from all over the world who have chosen to make Northern Ireland their home.
Having already worked alongside Belfast Friendship Club as part of the #xtraOrdinarygirls Project in October last year, we knew we were in for an incredible experience again. All of us were blown away by the stories they shared; how they transitioned into life here and what they had to leave behind.
We all agreed we wanted to be better activists to help make Northern Ireland a friendlier place to live in for everybody – not just people who look and think like us.
